Springfield Methodist Protestant Church will host Friday Night Lights May 19 from 6 -9 p.m. at the church. There will be vintage video games, pool, volleyball, free tacos and more. The event is for ages 12 through 18. Sunny South Cemetery will host a workday Saturday, May 20 at 8 a.m. It is requested that anyone who has family members buried in the cemetery attend. Homecoming at Sunny South Baptist Church will be Sunday, May 28 at 11 a.m. Following the church service there will be dinner on the grounds followed by a cemetery committee meeting.
