Michael Lewis Brown Sr. “Mickey” of Palm Harbor, Fla. entered his eternal home on May 23, 2023, after a brief illness. He was born in the small town of Grove Hill and grew up in nearby Jackson, along the Tombigbee River. After High School, he worked for Brown’s Home Center, which was founded by his grandparents. He later started ML Brown Construction in Alabama. He attended the University of South Alabama, a national research university but his heart was with the Crimson Tide of the University of Alabama. “Roll Tide” was a familiar refrain on every Saturday during football season....
