The staff and volunteers at the Thomasville Public Library are rushing to complete the interior of the building for a grand opening on Friday, June 30. The first floor of the renovated building on the corner of Safford Avenue and West Front Street in the old Bedsole Furniture building will be devoted to Thomasville’s rich history. Displays will focus the city’s history. Local businesses, clubs and groups will be highlighted.
