Martha Jo Powell, formerly of Thomasville, celebrated her 95th birthday June 12 with a party given in her honor at her home in Jemison. Family and friends attended and a five generation photograph was taken with Mrs. Powell, seated at right. They include her daughter, Joan Rush Langston of Clanton. and her grandson, Scott Fowler of Saltillo, Miss (standing), her greatgranddaughter, Jade Fowler and great-greatgranddaughter Everlee Fowler of Sherman, Miss.; (seated with Mrs. Powell).
