Gussie Mae Rowden Walton was born Sept. 6, 1921 to the late Lillie Chaney and Augusta Forshee of Choctaw County. She transitioned from this life July 29, 2023 in Thomasville. God granted her a long and graceful life to live to the age of 101 years. She was a fervent and loyal member of the New Greater First Baptist Church until she could no longer attend. For many years she worked at Solomon Brothers Inc. (the shirt factory) then later as a home labor. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend to all she encountered....
