The Clarke Prep Gators opened the 2023 season with a thrilling 29-22 overtime win against the Wilcox Academy Wildcats. The win snaps a nine-game losing streak for season opening games for the Gators, now 1-0 for the first time since 2013. The temperatures were in the upper 90s at kickoff.
