Ellis Richard Luker, 87, of Putnam died Aug. 24, 2023 at his home. He was born March 27, 1936 in Holtamville to Ellis James and Nora Clan Luker. He was a retired paper mill worker and a member of Creels Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elma Rhee Huggins Luker. He is survived by two sons, Richard Donald "Ricky" (Buffy) Luker and Stanley Russell "Rusty" Luker (Racy); daughter, Vickie Luker (Ken) Nichols; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
