Lydia Brewer, a senior softball player at Sweet Water High School, signed with Coastal Alabama Community College on a full athletic scholarship. Lydia has been a catcher, 3rd baseman, and pitcher during her career at SWHS, but has primarily pitched for the Bulldogs the last two years. This season, in 74 innings of work, she has recorded 129 strikeouts and only 29 walks, with a 3.7 ERA and has hit her way to a .349 average. She plans to either get a degree in physical education or athletic training, but ultimately wants to coach softball.
