Ruth Francis Galbraith, age 89, a homemaker of Thomasville, died Feb. 27, 2024 at her home. She was born Aug. 18 1934 in Crossett, Ark., to Leroy and Ophelia Burchfield. Ruth was a member of Thomasville Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Brent Galbraith (Terry), Steven Galbraith (Reta) and Dale Galbraith (Tammy); daughter, Sharon Dozier (Mike); with nine grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband, Jesse Brent Galbraith Sr. Graveside funeral services were held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Friday, March 1 with the Rev. Ty Parten officiating.
