Marlene Johnson Drinkard, 85, a homemaker of Thomasville, died Feb. 24, 2024 at Crowne Health Care of Thomasville. She was born Nov. 28, 1938 in Thomasville, to James Matthew Johnson and Alice Virginia Phillips Johnson. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Mrs. Drinkard is survived by two daughters, Twila Blackburn (Todd) and Shan Higginbotham; sister, Wylene Boney; three granddaughters, Kathryn Blackburn, Jessica Messer (Micah) and Lara Reid (Ethan); and one great-grandchild, Josie Dunagan.
