Rex Osborn Wood, age 87, of Thomasville, died Aug. 18, 2024 in Thomasville. He was born March 17, 1937 in Dixons Mills, to Johnnie Hackworth and Olga Devan Pope. Rex was the owner and operator of Thomasville Saw Company, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Betty Kaye Wood; son, John Osborn Wood; daughter, Wendy Kaye Wood; grandchildren, Tess, Ty, Trevor and Tayla; and great-grandchildren, Ash, Jack Gaines, Shaw and Axtyn.
