The Alabama Community College System (ACCS), in collaboration with the ACCS Innovation Center, is launching a new workforce training initiative designed specifically for Alabama’s wood processing industry. This includes companies working in engineered wood, mass timber, structural panels, and related production and finishing operations. To ensure the training aligns with real-world needs, ACCS is inviting companies to attend one of two upcoming meetings to provide input on the core skills required for entry-level employees.
