Gregory Scott Downey, 63, of Sweet Water died Feb. 2, 2022 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 26, 1958 in Demopolis. He was a former dry wall installer and a member of Old Union Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Smith Downey; son, Gregory Robert Marlin Downey; two brothers, Bill (Wendy) Downey and Jeff Downey; grandchild, Kayla Cheyenne Downey; special friend, Terry Campbell; and other beloved family and friends.
