The Clarke County Democratic Executive Committee is already qualifying candidates for this year’s elections and the Clarke County Republican Executive Committee will open qualifying Jan. 17 for GOP candidates. Democratic Party Chairwoman Willie Lanier said qualifying will open that evening and continue through Friday, Jan. 28. Candidates may qualify at the law office of Williams & Keahey in Grove Hill during normal business hours.
