Virginia “Ginger” Merle Martin Godbold, 64, of Pine Hill died peacefully on Jan 3, 2022 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sept. 11, 1957 in Demopolis. She was a member of the County Line Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and would say that her greatest accomplishment in life were her children and grandchildren. Her favorite title to be called was “Gigi” by her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Merle Martin; sister, Tammy Martin; and brother, Danny Martin....
