“A Front-Porch Christmas” will be presented at Springfield MP Church Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. The musical production will feature choirs and musicians from Bassett’s Creek Baptist Church, Chilton Baptist Church, Midway Baptist Church, Okalona Bible Church and Springfield MP Church. Jimmy Andrews will direct the original cantata, which will feature singers gathering on a front porch to praise God and celebrate the birth of Jesus. Make your plans to join them. Refreshments will be served after the celebration.
