James Marshall "Jimmie" Stephens, 81, of Thomasville died Dec. 6, 2021 at Thomasville Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 9, 1940 in Grove Hill to Nathan and Ruby Clyde Stephens. He worked for many years a T at Stephens Grocery Store. He was butcher and processed several deer for area hunters, and was an insurance agent for New York Life Insurance Co. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was an avid turkey hunter, and a member of Thomasville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Stephens.
