A proposed sale of a mobile home trailer to Washington County fell through at the Clarke County Commission meeting Nov. 2 as the two commissioners present who could vote on the matter deadlocked. The trailer had been used as a voting house but is now parked on county property and unused. The trailer had been damaged when an escaped prisoner broke in to try and hide, damaging the front door frame. Washington County had a need for it and offered to purchase it.
