DEMOPOLIS – The Alabama Rural Health Collaborative and SimUAB Mobile Simulation Lab visited Whitfield Regional Hospital on Tuesday. The simulation lab from the University of Alabama Birmingham provides rural hospitals an opportunity for simulation training for health care at smaller facilities in Alabama. The mobile simulation lab is the only simulation unit in the state and it is a key component of UAB’s Clinical Simulation. The mobile unit that arrived Tuesday was under the direction of Director Mercedes Williams.
