The Clarke County Education Retirees Association will meet today at 11:45 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Jackson. The guest speaker will be Candice Jenkins. All members are urged to attend. The 10th annual James G. Gunn Honor Band festival will be March 18 and 19 in the Thomasville Civic Center. Approximately 100 student musicians have made applications to perform with a dozen area schools represented. The event is sponsored by the Art Council of Thomasville's Flying Brick Community Band.
