Samuel Charles Jackson, 87, passed into heaven Friday, Feb. 11, 2022 at his home in Mexia. He was born Aug. 22, 1934 in Clarke County and resided in Mexia since April of 1975. He was a member of the Mexia Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was vice-president of data processing at Monroe County Bank.
