49 years agoMay 12, 1973 The Grove Hill Community will receive their Rural Fire Defense vehicle through the Alabama Forestry Commission this week, it was announced by Mr. Leland Pugh, Mayor; Mrs. Roland C. Duke and Clarke County Ranger Hunter Reynolds. This is part of a statewide program conducted by the Forestry Commission to provide brushfire defense for the residences of small communities, according Ranger Reynolds.
