Hedley Alexander “Alex” Davis, 83, of Thomasville, died at his home May 5, 2022. He was born Jan. 17, 1939. He graduated high school from Livingston High School in 1957 and he graduated from Auburn University in 1962 with a degree in Forestry and Chemistry. He began his professional career at Gulf States in Demopolis and then transferred to MacMillan Bloedel/Weyerhaeuser in Pine Hill where he worked for 35 years as an Environmental Engineer.
