Clydie Mae Johnston Dement, 90, a homemaker of Thomasville died May 1, 2022 at her home. She was born March 7, 1932 in Elmore County to Owen Clyde and Tossie Mae Johnston. She was a member of Grove Hill Methodist Protestant Church. She is survived by her two sons, Calvin (Pat) Dement and Glenn (Doris) Dement; two daughters, Ann (Wayne) Morgan and Peggy (Howard) Blevins; two brothers, Bobby Johnston and Marvin Johnston; two sisters, Betty Jo Howell and Vermel Timberlake; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
