The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office received information on Thursday, July 21 about a bag of mail being located on the side of Alabama Highway 69 outside of Jackson. Sheriff’s investigators and Jackson investigators responded and located the bag which contained numerous items of mail from multiple residences around Clarke County. Jackson Police investigators identified Cary Letorle Wright, 44, of Jackson as a suspect. Wright had active warrants for theft of property, second degree, in Jackson and was suspected to have involvement in other cases as well.
