Something Alabama and the south in general, are commonly known for is hospitality. In my mind manners, etiquette and hospitality are all parts of the same whole. Most southerners are taught from an early age to say: “Yes Ma’am /Sir,” or “No Ma’am/Sir,”; “Thank you,”; “Please,” “Excuse me.” and “You're Welcome”.
