The new Thomasville Public Library continues to take shape on West Front Street in downtown Thomasville. The new library, in the former Bedsole, Gulf then Barfield furniture store, will cover two floors, providing much more space than the current facility. Projections are for the facility to be completed by December or January. The power panel to serve it won’t arrive until early December. The above photo is the front on West Front Street. At right is the rear of the building, adjacent to a large parking lot.
