Tuesday, Aug. 9 is the first day for students in the Thomasville City Schools District. Students entering the 2022-2023 school year will have a new superintendent Vickie Morris, and new principals and assistant principals at Thomasville Elementary School (Chelsea Doggett and Melisa Marshall-Washington) and Thomasville Middle School (Eddie Armstead Jr. and Brad Elam).
