Roderick Perkins, "Ricky," passed away Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, at Mobile Infirmary Hospital. His wife was sitting beside Ricky, brushing his hand against her cheek when he left this world. Ricky was very hard of hearing, now he can hear perfectly. A graduate of Washington County High School, he played football, basketball and baseball for the Washington County Bulldogs. Continuing his education, Ricky attended Mississippi State, transferring to Springhill College to be closer to home. Also, there was no saltwater around to go snapper fishing.
