Elbert Harold West, a native of Walker Springs and a resident of Kissimmee, Fla., made his earthly transition on Sept. 12, 2022. He was born on May 29, 1931 to Sallie Gladys Ezell West and James Alexander West. Elbert retired as a detective with New York Police Department.
