Jackson’s annual celebration of Fire Prevention Week will be Oct. 9-15. According to a release from the Jackson Fire Department, “Fire Prevention Week 2022 focuses on educating everyone about simple but important actions they can take to keep themselves and those around them safe at home. It’s important for everyone to plan and practice a home fire escape plan.
