Some people complain about things and that is the end of it. Others complain but also step up and try to do something. Our hat is off to Gena Bradley for bringing the problems at the Old Lock One Park to the public’s attention and for starting an online petition to try and get repairs and maintenance needs done. The park, off of Highway 69 near Salitpa, is a treasure in so many ways. It is, or should, provide access to the Tombigbee River for fishermen, hunters and recreational boaters.
