Sybil Marie Jones, 93, of Jackson, passed away peacefully Oct. 19, 2022 at her home. She was born May 12, 1929 to Moses Ivey and Ida Marie Ivey. Sybil married George (Bebe) Jones on Aug. 29, 1948; their first date was, surprizingly, hunting alligators! She adored her husband and was blessed with a wonderful loving family. Sybil was the epitome of a perfect wife and mother. She taught her grandchildren how to cook some of the family favorites like chicken and dumplings, sour cream pound cake, and chocolate pie.
