For the second year in a row, the Jackson Academy Eagles had an unbeaten regular season and played Lowndes Academy for the state championship but came up short. This year, the Eagles were again 12-0 on the regular season and again met Lowndes in the AISA Class A title game in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
