The annual Christmas Step Sing, sponsored by the First United Methodist Church of Jackson, will be Sunday, Nov. 27, 3 p.m. on the steps of the church. In years past, the Step Sing has been hosted at dusk. Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs and blankets if needed, and dress appropriately for the weather. Churches and other groups singing this year are Forest Avenue Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, Leroy Baptist Church, Jackson High School and First Methodist. Others wishing to participate should call the FUMC at 251-246-2224 so they may be included in the program.
