Floyd Leggett Jr., the third child of eight children, was born to the late Rev. Floyd Leggett and Gracie Mae Bryant- Leggett in Walker Springs on March 12, 1956. Floyd accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church under the pastorate of the Rev. E. Thomas. Following his high school graduation, he worked at Vanity Fair for several years until joining his father in the logging business.
