Game Check is a mandatory program in Alabama to track deer and turkey harvest information on a county by county basis. All hunters are required to report harvest within 48 hours of the harvest through a smartphone app, online through a website or by calling an 800 number. The purpose is to provide solid statistics to help improve management of the state’s deer and turkey populations. Figures for the 2022-23 deer season have been released.
