Alfred Lee West of the Walker Springs community, better known to family and friends as "Pete," made his earthly transition Dec. 26, 2022, while at Jackson Health Care in Jackson. Alfred was born May 20, 1938 to Sallie Gladys Ezell West and James Alexander West in the Walker Springs community. Early in life he was a member of the St. Luke Baptist Church in Walker Springs. Pete, as he was fondly called, was a very kind and compassionate person who loved the outdoors and gardening.
