Fletcher Dean Turner, 81, passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022, at the Washington County Hospital in Chatom. Born on Aug. 10, 1941, the Washington County native later graduated from Washington County High School and spent 30 years in the U.S. Air Force. Afterwards, he worked in maintenance with the Washington County School Board for 18 years. The love of his life, though, was his bride of 38 years, Jan Turner.
