Leo Cox was born in the Toddtown community of Grove Hill on Oct. 26, 1937 to the late Charlie James Cox Sr. and Alma Lee Todd Cox. He was the second of 11 children. Leo accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pine Chapel Baptist Church No. 2. Leo attended Wilson Hall High School, where he was a passionate football player.
