Former Clarke County Sheriff Ray Norris was scheduled to be sentenced this coming Monday, Jan. 9 in federal court in Mobile but the sentence hearing has been delayed until Monday, Feb. 27. No information was available on the delay. The hearing will be before Chief District Judge Jeffrey U. Beaverstock at 10:30 a.m. in Courtroom 4A of the U.S. Courthouse, 155 St. Joseph Street in downtown Mobile.
