Oh, the joy of the holiday before the holiday! Last minute preparations before the big day are underway. Children are excited and out of school. Friends start arriving in town to see their family and I always bump into an old classmate. I love Christmas Eve Eve (the day before Christmas Eve) and Christmas Eve more than the actual big day of Christmas. Friends stopping by with baked goods and little presents and hugs, the last minute cooking and running of errands, and the little kids giddy with new Christmas pajamas make the build up to Christmas festive and bright....
