A fish fry to benefit Old Lock One and the need for repairs there will be held Saturday, Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. at the Old Lock Park. The event is open to the public and is sponsored by the Salitpa Volunteer Fire Department. The goal of the event is to bring the community and local leadership together through fellowship and food (while it lasts!) to bring awareness to the needs at the Old Lock. Donations will be used to promote the needs of the park, petition drives, food costs and the Salitpa Volunteer Fire Department.
