Jackson firemen responded to a fire early Monday morning at a home on Evergreen Road. It appears that lightning struck a shed behind the home of Bridget and Tyrone Moye. The shed and all its contents were completely destroyed but fireman were able to contain the fire so that only the very back of the home was damaged. Since spring break is this week, Bridget, a teacher at Gillmore Elementary and daughter, Jessica were home when the fire started, otherwise the house may have been lost as well.
