U.S. Marine Capt. Jordan Englert, the son of Linda and Craig Englert of Jackson, received promotion to the rank of major on Feb. 17, 2023. Maj. Englert is a 2008 graduate of Jackson High School and a 2012 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. He is currently stationed at U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, N.C.
