Christopher Esker of Jackson Middle School was selected to attend the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering (ASCTE), in Huntsville, for his high school career. ASCTE is the nation’s only high school focused on the integration of cyber technology and engineering into all academic disciplines. ASCTE is a public, residential magnet high school serving students throughout the state of Alabama. Tuition and housing are free. The application process was very competitive. Christopher will be the first student from our area to attend. Christopher is the son of Daphne and Doug Esker of Jackson.
