The Jackson City Council met Tuesday, June 27 for its regular meeting with Mayor Paul South presiding. In his opening remarks, the mayor congratulated both JHS and JMS cheerleaders on an outstanding showing at cheerleader camp last week. The mayor reminded everyone of the fireworks show scheduled for Saturday, July 1 at the fairgrounds.
