Phelitha “Lisa” Sashington, age 50, born Feb. 12, 1973 in Chatom, the daughter of Ada Herring and the late Willie Ray Franks. Ms. Sashington was a resident of Columbus, Ohio. She was a graduate of Washington County High School in the Class of 1993. Phelitha professed Christ at an early age and became a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. She battled a debilitating illness all of her life and God saw that she needed rest, and He gave her rest.
