Landon Duckworth, Jackson High’s starting quarterback, announced over the weekend that he has committed to play at University of South Carolina, as a member of the 2026 signing class. Duckworth, a 6’3” 190 pound sophomore, became the starting quarterback for the Aggies last year. As a 14-year-old freshman, Duckworth completed 110 passes on 183 attempts for 1,985 yards with 20 touchdowns. In addition to his passing success, he also rushed for 355 yards and eight touchdowns.
