Clifton Williams, a lifelong resident of the Gosport community, made his earthly transition on Aug. 23, 2023 while at Monroe Manor Nursing Home. Born on Dec. 26, 1942, he was the son of Euara King and Lesue Williams. Clifton was member of the Little Rock Baptist Church in the Gosport community; he served on the usher board before his health began to decline. He also was a Gosport Volunteer Fire Department member.
